Efficient and Effective Brain

When you need to energise a huge group of individuals or a whole organisation, it's not the same as when you need to energise just yourself or your individual reports.

When you are trying to galvanise the energy of a large number of people, the first thing you need to do is make the transition from being a leader of yourself and/or your team to being a leader of the enterprise. Your full-time job should now be to create conditions in which your people can successfully complete their work.

That couldn't be further from the truth if you tried.

One of the most significant distinctions between bosses and leaders is that, unlike bosses, leaders understand that in order to drive long-term growth, they need to manage their brains, bones, and of course the nerves of their business throughout the entire year, each and every year. This is one of the key differences between bosses and leaders.

They are conscious of the fact that this is their primary occupation. It is not simply where you begin your leadership roles; it is also where you continue to exercise those roles.

By maintaining a proactive focus on the company's brains, bones, and nerves throughout the process.

It ought to be obvious at this point that the two components that make up a company's most efficient and effective brain are its employees and its customers.

—a compelling vision and plan stated in a manner that is both simple and elegant

And the capacity to accomplish gaining acceptance and comprehension of the vision and the strategy.

The question of how to achieve such clarity and acceptance is the only thing that matters. Consequently, the process of establishing a structure for company or a function within a huge corporation is a touchy matter due to the fact that many people base their decisions on power and politics rather than on the requirements of the real business.
